Kevin Hart shares a health update on Jamie Foxx

Actor and comedian Kevin Hart shared an update on Jamie Foxx’s health during his appearance on the Impaulsive podcast. Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx revealed on Instagram last April 12 that her father had experienced a “medical complication.” Hart did not provide specific details on Foxx’s condition but expressed his love and support for his friend. Hart said that the outpouring of prayers, love, and energy from Foxx’s fans is being felt and seen, and that Foxx is steadily progressing in his recovery.
Hart acknowledged that Foxx is a necessary and important figure in the entertainment industry and that he hopes the positive energy and love towards Foxx will continue. Hart’s sentiments were echoed by other celebrities such as Kerry Washington, LeBron James, Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan, and Steve Harvey who have also extended their well wishes for Foxx.
On May 3, Foxx himself spoke out for the first time since his hospitalization by writing an Instagram post expressing gratitude for all the love he has received. He also gave a shoutout to Nick Cannon, who will be filling in for Foxx on the upcoming season of “Beat Shazam.”
Despite his health issues, production for Foxx’s Netflix film “Back in Action” has resumed with a stunt double and photo double standing in for the actor.
