While Matty’s friends have been teasing him about his unique tattoos, he remains steadfast in his pride. His dedication to showcasing his admiration for the presenters has even led him to have Holly Willoughby’s face inked on his other cheek. Matty’s decision to honor these television personalities in such a creative way has certainly made him the center of attention.
In light of the recent revelation about Phillip Schofield’s affair with a younger colleague, Matty acknowledges that he doesn’t agree with the age gap but believes it was ultimately their personal choice. He emphasizes that his tattoos are a representation of his appreciation for the presenters as entertainers and not an endorsement of their personal decisions.
Matty’s decision to get these remarkable tattoos dates back to 2017 when he aimed to outdo his flatmate Lee, who had gotten a tattoo of the presenting duo Ant and Dec on his own rear end. Determined to one-up his friend, Matty spent three hours getting the distinctive tattoos of Holly and Phil. The tattoo artist, Steve Bell, even described it as the strangest request he had ever received.
Matty’s dedication to his unique ink landed him an appearance on the popular TV show “Celebrity Juice” in 2017. During the show, Matty had the opportunity to meet Holly and Phil in person. Phillip jokingly asked if he regretted getting the tattoos, to which Matty confidently replied that he did not. Holly, upon seeing the tattoos up close, expressed her flattery, making Matty feel even more proud of his decision. The host, Keith Lemon, added a humorous comment about Holly’s interest in examining Matty’s tattoo.
